Are there any prescribed books for the examinations and whether any coaching institutions are recognized.

Railway Recruitment Boards have not prescribed any books or guides for the examinations being conducted by them. Similarly no coaching institution is recognized for giving coaching to candidates. Candidates are advised not to be misled by false advertisements/propaganda in this regard.
